We spent the day in Rocky Mountain national Park today.  The impression was..it was rugged, beautiful, and cold.  When we reached the highest peak at 14,000 feet, it was somewhere around 50 degrees.  Hannah loved the cooler temperatures.  We were in shorts, ready to hike but soon removed the blankets from the back of the car and covered up!  It was breathtaking.  The 49 mile stretch of paved road through the park is a sight to see.  We stopped along the way and took short walks down large hills and up steep cliffs.  We had many opportunities to view wild life, streams, snow, and peaks and valleys of all sorts.  It was a great day, made even better because I was with my kids, watching them explore new things and enjoy God's creation.  We talked, hiked, listened to music, but most important, enjoyed just being together.  What an awesome day!  Here is one of my favorite photos from the day:
