Meditate on this

Colossians 3:2-3 says, "Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. For you have died, and your life is hid with Christ in God."

Parents, wives...Do you set your mind on things above? Do we complain or proclaim? Do we build up, pointing those around us to something greater, or do we discourage...pointing out the negative, trying to "help" our loved ones "grow?"

We can and will win those we love over to the love of God when we become a SWEET fragrance of the LOVE of Christ. Try it, say something positive, point out a beautiful sunset, bless someone with a compliment, quote a verse, sing a song, write a poem..with all the negative in our culture we need to be the counterpoint..

Phillipians 4:8 says, "Finally, brothers (sisters), whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable-if anything is excellent or praiseworthy-think about such things."
