Reflections on Trials

What is a trial? I am sick right now with a bad cold, is that a trial? My daughters are away from me and I miss them, is that a trial? What about finances, or a job, a broken relationship, lack of sleep? I have been studying the last few days for our summer study in James and this morning I took a break to read some blogs I follow and this youtube video was on a friend of mine's blog. As i watched it I cringed, thinking how small my "trials" are. I thought about what Jesus, who knew no sin suffered for me. I was moved to complete thankfulness-at the cross.
